Insurance Sales Agent

About the role

Prudential Uganda is seeking a full‑time Insurance Sales Agent to join its Kampala office. The role combines office work with flexible home‑based days, allowing you to engage both prospective and existing clients while promoting a range of life and other insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach new prospects, as well as nurture relationships with existing clients.
• Explain insurance products clearly, assess client needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Prepare and present quotations, guide clients through application and underwriting processes, and follow up on documentation.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets while maintaining accurate client interaction records.
• Participate in regular training sessions, team meetings and community outreach activities to enhance brand visibility.

Required profile

• Strong sales orientation with the ability to meet or exceed targets.
• Excellent customer‑service mindset and ability to build long‑term relationships.
• Clear communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic numerical, analytical and computer proficiency.

Required skills

• Fundamental computer skills for data entry and quotation preparation.
