Insurance Sales Executive

About the role

We are seeking an Insurance Sales Executive to join our agency in Kampala. The role focuses on driving sales of annuity, life assurance and related financial products, building lasting client relationships and achieving revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers while nurturing existing relationships.
• Promote and sell insurance and financial products, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Manage a busy sales pipeline, prioritize activities and follow up using CRM tools.
• Prepare and deliver clear, customer‑friendly presentations of complex financial concepts.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, preferably in insurance, banking or financial services, with a strong track record of meeting targets.
• Solid knowledge of annuity, life assurance or willingness to learn these products quickly.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Strong relationship‑building and consultative sales approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on‑site in Kampala.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field preferred; relevant certifications a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Competence in basic office software such as email, spreadsheets and presentation applications.
