Manager – Digital Channels, Sales & Distribution

About the role

The Manager – Digital Channels, Sales & Distribution will lead the development, management and optimisation of MTN Uganda’s distribution and partner ecosystem. The role focuses on creating sustainable channel growth, expanding market reach and driving revenue through strategic channel development, route‑to‑market optimisation and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement channel strategies aligned with commercial objectives, including new route‑to‑market identification and channel expansion initiatives.
• Manage relationships with distributors, dealers, aggregators, agents, resellers and strategic partners; negotiate agreements and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Deliver channel revenue, subscriber acquisition and market‑share targets; drive activation campaigns, sales acceleration and incentive frameworks.
• Identify strategic growth opportunities across consumer and enterprise segments, build partnerships, conduct market assessments and lead channel growth projects.
• Ensure compliance with channel operating standards, monitor service quality and governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in channel strategy development, partner management and revenue growth within a telecom or related environment.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen to assess market opportunities and drive business cases.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional projects and support commercialisation of new products and services.
