Medical Sales Representative – Pharmaceutical Field

About the role

The Medical Sales Representative will service existing accounts, secure orders and build new client relationships by understanding their needs and promoting appropriate products. The role involves frequent interaction with doctors, pharmacists and key opinion leaders to influence prescribing decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange appointments with private, hospital doctors and pharmacists.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities based on market trends and customer needs.
• Negotiate and close sales deals, meeting or exceeding set targets.
• Build trust with key opinion leaders to influence decision‑making.
• Develop regional sales strategies and submit daily, weekly and monthly activity reports.
• Monitor competition, gather pricing information and report market insights.
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues and recommending solutions.
• Maintain professional knowledge through continuous medical education and participation in professional societies.
• Attend company meetings, technical presentations and contribute to team objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry (hospitals and distributors).
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market.
• Excellent listening, communication, negotiation and selling abilities.
• Target‑driven and able to work independently.
