Panel Beating Specialist – Automotive Body Repair

About the role

The Panel Beating Specialist will work on‑site in Kampala, repairing and restoring vehicle bodywork. The role involves assessing damage, removing and refitting panels, and preparing surfaces for painting while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage and provide accurate repair estimates.
• Straighten frames, reshape panels, and fix dents using hand and power tools.
• Remove, repair, and refit body parts, then prepare surfaces for painting.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with mechanics, painters, and supervisors to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Technical certificate or diploma in automotive engineering, panel beating, or a related field.
• Previous experience in an auto‑body shop or garage, preferably in collision repair.
• Good communication skills, reliability, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
