About the role
KELPESH AUTO is seeking a full‑time Panel Beating Specialist to work on‑site in Kampala. The specialist will repair and restore vehicle bodywork, including straightening frames, reshaping panels, fixing dents and preparing surfaces for painting.
Key responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and interpret repair instructions.
- Remove, repair or refit body parts using hand tools, power tools and welding equipment.
- Straighten frames and reshape panels to factory specifications.
- Prepare repaired surfaces for painting and finishing.
- Provide accurate job estimates and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Collaborate with mechanics, painters and supervisors to meet deadlines.
- Follow company procedures and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Required profile
- Technical certificate or diploma in automotive engineering, panel beating or a related field.
- Previous experience in an auto body shop or garage, preferably in panel beating or collision repair.
- Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
