About the role

Norvik Enterprises is seeking a reliable Pharmacy Dispenser to join its team in Kamwokya, Kampala. You will support health‑care providers and patients by ensuring accurate and timely medication dispensing while maintaining a safe pharmacy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and health‑care providers in person and by phone, answer queries and refer them to the pharmacist as needed.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory: monitor stock levels, anticipate needs, place and expedite orders, verify receipts, and remove expired products.
• Ensure a clean and safe pharmacy by following infection‑control policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Read medication orders and prescriptions, prepare labels, calculate quantities, and assemble intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies.
• Review prescriptions for errors, communicate with prescribers to resolve issues, and record doctors’ orders.
• Deliver medications to patients and hospital departments, and keep accurate dispensing records.
• Prepare reports by collecting and summarising pharmacy data.

Required profile

• Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised institution.
• Valid registration with the relevant professional body.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a busy hospital or retail pharmacy setting.
• Entry‑level qualification with demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
