Proposal Writer & Fundraising Trainee

About the role

TechBuzz Hub is looking for a motivated Proposal Writer & Fundraising Trainee to join its Innovation Hub in Kampala. This full‑time position supports the Graduate Professionals Apprenticeship Program (GPAP) and offers hands‑on experience in proposal development, fundraising, and monitoring & evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and submit proposals and RFP responses for funding opportunities.
• Conduct research to identify business and partnership opportunities.
• Articulate project problems, gaps, and opportunities to shape program design.
• Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks, including logic models, theories of change, and log frames.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure proposal alignment with strategic goals.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail, good time‑management, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Interest in entrepreneurship, technology, and startup ecosystems.
