Sales and Marketing Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Associate to join our insurance agency in Kampala. This full‑time, on‑site position will help grow our client base by identifying prospects, presenting our services and supporting the closure of new business.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective clients through outreach and networking.
• Present agency services and prepare proposals and presentations.
• Develop, execute and monitor marketing campaigns in collaboration with creative and account teams.
• Track campaign performance and sales activities, reporting results to management.
• Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships.
• Support marketing events, promotions and sales training initiatives.
• Conduct market research and ensure client needs are communicated internally.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field (preferred).
• Prior experience in sales or marketing, ideally within an agency or service‑based environment.
• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with creative, account and sales teams.

Required skills

• Basic digital marketing knowledge.
• Proficiency with common office software.
• Experience using CRM software.
