About the role

The Sales and Marketing Representative role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kampala. This role involves identifying prospective clients, presenting and nurturing relationships to drive sales growth. The representative will develop and execute marketing campaigns, support insurance initiatives, and collaborate with the team to promote business planning and development solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Meeting with clients to discuss insurance products and services.
• Conducting product and service presentations.
• Following up on leads and nurturing relationships.
• Providing customer support and handling inquiries.
• Preparing sales and marketing reports.
• Participating in training sessions, workshops, and outreach events to increase brand visibility.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills, including clear presentation and active listening.
• Customer service and client relationship management abilities.
• Sales and marketing expertise to identify opportunities and close deals.
• Training skills to support workshops and client education sessions.
• Experience in business planning, advertising, or business development (advantage).
• Ability to work on-site in Kampala, manage time effectively, and meet performance targets.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and digital communication tools.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
