Sales Assistant

About the role

Zamsell Uganda is looking for a dedicated Sales Assistant to join its on‑site team in Kampala. You will be the front‑line representative, ensuring customers enjoy a seamless shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with product selections.
• Manage in‑store product displays, keep the shop organized and presentable.
• Handle customer inquiries, promote products and process sales transactions.
• Support the achievement of sales targets by collaborating with team members.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure smooth store operations.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent communication and sales skills.
• Effective organization skills for inventory and store upkeep.
• Team‑player attitude in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Passion for retail and customer satisfaction.
• Basic computer proficiency; experience with point‑of‑sale systems is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not mandatory.
