Sales Executive – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Sales Executive will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala, driving revenue for an insurance agency by identifying and closing new business opportunities. You will prospect potential clients, deliver presentations, and promote the agency’s recruitment and advertising services while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and generate leads for new business in the Kampala market.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and prepare tailored proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet revenue targets.
• Manage a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align client needs with service delivery.
• Maintain accurate sales records, track performance against targets and provide regular reports to management.

Required profile

• Proven sales and business development experience, preferably in recruitment, advertising or related fields.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to plan, organise and manage time effectively with attention to detail.
• Motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Familiarity with the Kampala market and local business environment is a plus.
