Sales Executive – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Sales Executive will work on‑site in Kampala for an insurance agency. This full‑time position focuses on acquiring new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and promoting the agency’s services and campaign proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential clients across target markets.
• Conduct sales meetings, prepare pitches, quotations and follow up on leads.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet assigned revenue targets.
• Collaborate with creative and account‑management teams to ensure client needs are clearly communicated and delivered.
• Report regularly on sales performance, market opportunities and pipeline status.

Required profile

• Proven ability in client prospecting, relationship management and closing sales, preferably within advertising, marketing or related sectors.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Basic understanding of advertising and marketing concepts such as campaign planning, branding and digital marketing.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management capabilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a diverse team.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Competence in Microsoft Office suite.
