Senior Team Lead – Sales & Credit

About the role

Platinum Credit Limited is seeking a Senior Team Lead to manage its sales and credit team at the Kampala branch. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on driving loan product sales, acquiring new customers, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, allocate, and monitor daily work to meet branch and regional targets.
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback.
• Drive business growth through customer acquisition, relationship management, and promotion of loan products.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare periodic performance reports and collaborate on strategy and process improvements.
• Resolve escalated client issues and support staff training initiatives.
• Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and customer focus.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and team‑management experience, preferably in microfinance, banking, or credit services.
• Strong sales, business development, and customer relationship management background.
• Solid understanding of credit processes, risk assessment, and basic financial analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
