Solution Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of Ericsson Dynamic Activation (EDA) provisioning solutions for customers in Uganda. The role blends pre‑sales consulting with hands‑on delivery, translating customer requirements into robust technical proposals and implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure communication services products and perform system, module and acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with business partners to improve delivery processes and resolve technical product issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date solution documentation and provide feedback to R&D for portfolio enhancements.
• Conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions and share insights on emerging technologies.
• Stay current with industry trends to support customer competence building.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5–10 years of experience in solution architecture, cloud infrastructure or software virtualization.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Adaptable, innovative mindset with proven planning and result‑delivery capabilities.

Required skills

• Ericsson Dynamic Activation (EDA) provisioning solutions.
• Cloud infrastructure and software virtualization.
• OpenStack and Kubernetes.
• UDM portfolio knowledge (EDA, OpenStack, Kubernetes).
• Provisioning flows to CRM, OCS, UDM and IMS nodes (Ericsson and third‑party).
• Programming knowledge (optional).
