Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a solutions‑driven Supply Chain Coordinator to strengthen its humanitarian operations in Uganda. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that program delivery is supported by efficient planning, procurement, inventory, construction, and fleet management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, execute, and monitor country‑level supply chain activities in line with IRC and donor regulations.
• Collaborate with Program and Finance teams to integrate operational systems and maintain internal controls.
• Work closely with field office supply chain staff and senior field coordinators to ensure uniformity of processes and compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Provide job‑specific training to build capacity among supply chain personnel.
• Oversee procurement, inventory control, construction management, and vehicle/fleet management across all field locations.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of humanitarian supply chain principles.
• Experience coordinating multi‑stakeholder teams in a complex environment.
• Ability to develop and implement standard operating policies.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
