Techno Commercial Manager RAN EMEA

About the role

Ericsson Uganda is seeking a Techno Commercial Manager to lead RAN (Radio Access Network) business opportunities across the EMEA region. The role combines deep technical knowledge of RAN technologies with strong commercial acumen to structure, negotiate and close complex telecom and ICT deals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and negotiate end‑to‑end RAN solutions, covering 2G‑5G, Massive MIMO, software licensing, Cloud RAN and Open RAN.
• Develop commercial models, perform TCO/ROI analysis and apply value‑based pricing.
• Coordinate with domain experts, commercial management and C‑level stakeholders (CTO, CPO, CFO) to align technical and business objectives.
• Maintain a pipeline of opportunities in EMEA telecom markets and drive them to closure.
• Provide financial fluency throughout contract negotiations, leveraging all contract levers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven experience in commercial, solution or techno‑commercial roles within the RAN domain.
• Strong knowledge of RAN technologies (2G‑5G, Massive MIMO, Cloud RAN, Open RAN) and exposure to Core, Cloud, Transport and OSS/BSS.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English; additional EMEA languages a plus.
• Analytical, fact‑based problem‑solver with the ability to thrive under pressure.
