About the role
Starride Tours and Travels Ltd is hiring a Travel Consultant in Kampala to assist clients with travel arrangements, including flight bookings, hotel reservations, visa guidance, holiday packages and other travel services.
Key responsibilities
- Handle flight reservations, ticketing, reissues and refunds
- Provide competitive fares and travel itinerary options
- Arrange hotel bookings, airport transfers and holiday packages
- Assist clients with visa requirements and travel documentation
- Manage corporate travel accounts and client relationships
- Follow up on quotations, bookings and payments
- Resolve travel-related issues and provide excellent customer service
Required profile
- IATA qualification required
- Experience with GDS reservation systems
- Knowledge of airline fares, ticketing rules and travel regulations
Required skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong sales, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
