Warehouse Receiving Specialist – Tiles & Sanitary Ware

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Receiving Specialist to manage the intake of tiles and sanitary ware at our Kampala facility. The role ensures all incoming products are accurately verified, inspected, documented and stored safely.

Key responsibilities

• Receive tiles and sanitary ware according to approved procedures and verify against purchase orders, delivery notes and other documents.
• Inspect products for damage, breakage, chipping or defects and report any discrepancies immediately.
• Prepare and process Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and update the inventory and warehouse management systems.
• Coordinate the put‑away of items to designated storage locations, ensuring proper labeling and protection of fragile goods.
• Collaborate with transporters, logistics, and warehouse teams and generate receiving reports.
• Support stock‑taking and inventory reconciliation activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Operations or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in warehouse receiving, inventory control or logistics operations.
• Experience in the tiles, sanitary ware or building materials sector is an advantage.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems.
