Agent Banking Consultant

About the role

DFCU Bank is hiring a full-time Agent Banking Consultant in Kampala (Kamwokya). The role drives business growth through agent and customer acquisition, supervises agents to ensure compliance and keeps the agent network active.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business growth through agent and customer acquisition and monitor and supervise agents for compliance.
• Maintain an active agent network to meet the minimum agent utilization target.
• Act as first line of support to agents and customers to resolve their queries.
• Coordinate the distribution of agent branding collateral and business tools such as POS terminals and transaction books, ensuring compliance with branding guidelines and bank operating procedures.
• Prepare reports on branch and regional agent performance and share them with business stakeholders.
• Carry out competitor analysis to improve product and service features and identify new market opportunities.
• Monitor and enforce agents' adherence to Bank of Uganda prudential guidelines.
• Work directly with ANMs and branch staff to keep the agent channel productive and compliant.
• Undertake additional duties or transfer to compatible roles within the bank at its discretion.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least one year of professional work experience in the banking industry.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle with the appropriate licence where required.
