Associate, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships

About the role

Lucid, a luxury electric vehicle manufacturer, is looking for a Business Development and Partnerships Analyst. The role plays a key part in identifying and establishing new business partnerships and supporting the development of corporate strategy. It suits someone with a can-do attitude, quick learning and a drive for excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and establish new business partnerships and support corporate strategy development
• Conduct market analysis and industry research so internal stakeholders stay up to date on trends
• Identify, monitor and evaluate companies of strategic relevance to Lucid
• Carry out business case analysis and present reports with key results and recommendations
• Create presentation materials, take part in external meetings and maintain business development tracking tools and databases
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, finance and other teams to meet business objectives

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in business development, corporate development, market or equity research, management consulting or corporate finance
• Advantageous: prior experience in automotive, mobility and adjacent sectors
• Bachelor's degree in management, business, engineering or another relevant field
• Strong critical thinking, research and analytical abilities, and financial literacy
• Self-starter with strong communication, multitasking and problem-solving skills

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
