About the role

We are looking for a motivated Biomedical Engineering Graduate Trainee to join our team in Kamwokya. This position offers hands‑on experience with medical and laboratory equipment, supporting the installation, commissioning and testing processes under supervision. The trainee will collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical skills in equipment lifecycle management and compliance. This role is ideal for individuals eager to start a career in biomedical engineering within the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, commissioning and testing of medical and laboratory equipment.
• Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Support equipment troubleshooting and repair under supervision.
• Assist in equipment inspections, assessments and technical evaluations.
• Perform routine equipment performance checks and functional testing.
• Help prepare service reports and maintain maintenance records.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final‑year student in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• Willingness to work on‑site and follow supervision.
