Branch Executive – Lead Branch Growth & Operations

About the role

The Branch Executive will drive growth of the loan portfolio while ensuring profitability and efficient operations at the Kamwokya branch. You will lead a team in disbursement, collection and recovery, embodying Tugende’s core values of integrity, empathy, solutions orientation, teamwork and continuous growth.

Key responsibilities

• Generate sustainable revenue by leading marketing initiatives, allocating tasks, and converting leads.
• Maintain portfolio quality by enforcing credit policies, analysing data and supporting recovery operations.
• Build community relations and partnerships with local authorities, police, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Provide strong leadership to branch staff, supervise daily operations, ensure safety and security, and conduct performance reviews.
• Deliver excellent customer service, oversee the full customer journey from onboarding to asset lease completion.
• Manage branch administration, monitor expenses, propose efficiency improvements and ensure profitability.
• Prepare and submit operational status reports, highlighting progress, challenges and next steps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of management or supervisory experience, preferably in asset finance or micro‑finance.
• Demonstrated integrity, transparency and professionalism.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel, work flexible hours and adapt to rural environments.
