Senior Lecturer – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The University seeks a dedicated Senior Lecturer to join its Finance & Accounting department. The role involves teaching, research, and contributing to curriculum development while upholding the institution’s Christian values.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and tutorials in assigned finance and accounting subjects.
• Conduct research, publish scholarly articles, and supervise undergraduate research projects.
• Develop and assess examinations, assignments, and short courses.
• Participate in curriculum planning, learning material development, and e‑learning integration.
• Provide pastoral support, counselling, and career guidance to students.
• Engage with departmental, faculty, and university committees and contribute to scholarly communities.

Required profile

• PhD in Business Administration (Finance) or related field, or a Master’s degree with a strong finance focus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum three years of university teaching experience at Lecturer rank.
• Demonstrated expertise in corporate finance/financial management.
• At least two recent scholarly publications.
• Committed practicing Christian.
