Business Process Optimization Manager

About the role

Centenary Bank (Uganda) is hiring a Business Process Optimization Manager in Kampala. The role keeps the bank's processes, standard operating procedures and policies under control, evaluates the impact of changes and drives continuous improvement across business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the repository of the bank's processes, SOPs and policies so that changes are controlled, validated and approved.
• Determine the impact of system changes, upgrades and legislative changes on existing processes and roles.
• Seek out new methodologies and tools, introduce innovations and coordinate with cross-functional teams on process requirements and improvements.
• Cascade process documentation to end users and integrate effective controls into bank processes.
• Evaluate, design, execute, measure, monitor and control business processes to ensure efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any business or IT-related discipline.
• Over 3 years of experience in process development within a banking environment.

Required skills

• Communicating with impact and driving continuous improvement and innovation.
• Leading and supervising, planning and organizing.
• Understanding data and generating solutions.
• Highly computer literate.
