Content Specialist – LinkedIn & Blog

About the role

Obato, a green coffee sourcing and exporting company, is seeking a creative and organized Content Specialist to manage and grow its LinkedIn presence and company blog.

Key responsibilities

• Write and edit English content for LinkedIn and the company blog.
• Design social media posts and carousels, and edit simple videos.
• Publish and manage content on LinkedIn and WordPress.
• Execute the content calendar and monitor content performance.
• Grow Obato's LinkedIn audience, increase reach, and improve engagement.

Required profile

• Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Hands‑on experience with design tools, basic video editing, and content publishing.
• Ability to effectively use AI tools and critically review AI‑generated content.
• Creativity, attention to detail, accountability, and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn about the coffee trade, digital marketing, and B2B business.
• Availability to work full‑time on‑site at Obato's office in Kampala, Uganda.
