Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) Officer

About the role

KCB Bank Uganda is hiring a full-time, on-site CRB Officer in Kampala. The role coordinates the bank's credit reporting to credit reference bureaus, ensures data integrity and compliance with CRB regulations, and resolves disputes on submitted data together with the Legal Unit.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the bank's credit reporting to credit reference bureaus and ensure data integrity on the information reported.
• Ensure the bank remains compliant with CRB regulations at all times and prepare and submit periodic reports to the regulator.
• Investigate and resolve disputes raised by the bureaus and clients, working with the Legal Unit.
• Monitor reconciliation of CRB-related payments and run online CRB reports shared with branches and other units as needed.
• Keep the bank's previously submitted data up to date, correcting errors and removing obsolete entries.
• Liaise with relationship managers, branch managers and branch staff so that information is submitted according to bank policy and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure loan applications are properly captured by branches under credit applications.

The position is based in Kampala and is open until 21 November 2026; salary is negotiable.
