Finance Officer – Uganda Climate Smart Agricultural Transformation Project

About the role
The Finance Officer will join the Uganda Climate Smart Agricultural Transformation Project (UCSATP) team, supporting the Finance department in managing accounting systems, policies and procedures. The role ensures compliance with CRS accounting standards, GAAP, donor regulations and Ugandan legal requirements while contributing to high‑quality humanitarian programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Review and verify documentation for all financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain data required for processing transactions in the Insight financial accounting package.
- Record delegated financial transactions following proper authorisations.
- Monitor accounts for irregularities and support corrective actions.
- Evaluate sub‑recipient financial management processes and assist in capacity‑building.
- Prepare delegated financial reports and support audit activities.
