Finance & Value Management Officer, Business & Commercial Banking

About the role

The Finance & Value Management Officer will support Business & Commercial Banking (BCB) by delivering high‑quality financial analysis, product performance reviews and forecasting. The role ensures that decision‑makers receive timely insights to drive profitable growth and innovation across the bank’s product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare periodic performance analyses of BCB, highlighting gaps and recommending actions to Business Heads.
• Produce monthly segment, sector and product reports for Group and country BCB leaders.
• Develop financial models and forecasting tools for balance‑sheet and income‑statement projections.
• Participate in the monthly general‑ledger income and balance‑sheet segmentation process, ensuring product margins meet expectations.
• Investigate budget variances, provide explanations and propose corrective measures.
• Report ecosystem linkages between BCB sectors, CIB and PPB.
• Support innovation of BCB client solutions through ROI and profitability modelling.
• Design and implement future‑fit reporting using Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud and SQL.

Required profile

• B.Com (Accounting/Finance) or equivalent business degree.
• Partial or full ACCA/CPA or CIMA qualification is a plus.
• 2–3 years of experience in finance or business analysis, preferably in a commercial banking environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in financial modelling and data mining.
