About the role
The Upland Unified School District is seeking a dedicated coach to lead its Girls Junior Varsity Water Polo team. This position involves planning and delivering practice sessions, guiding athletes during competition, and fostering a safe, inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coach the Girls Junior Varsity Water Polo team in practices and games.
- Develop training plans that promote skill development and team cohesion.
- Ensure player safety by adhering to district health and safety policies.
- Maintain up‑to‑date certifications and documentation required by the district.
Required profile
- Current Concussion in Sports, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and Heat Illness Prevention certificates (renewed every two years).
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification.
- Letter of introduction.
- Two recent letters of recommendation (dated within the last 12 months).
- Proof of high school graduation or equivalent.
- Resume.
- Agreement to the district’s non‑discrimination policy.
