Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) – AgriTech

About the role

The Group Chief Operating Officer will steer large‑scale operations for a diversified agri‑business group operating across multiple countries. Reporting directly to the CEO & MD, the COO will be a pivotal member of the senior management team, driving operational excellence and business scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end operations across several geographies, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
• Oversee large‑scale agri operations, supply chain, and production management.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Build robust governance and performance‑management systems.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and expansion projects.
• Mentor and manage cross‑functional, multi‑regional teams.
• Ensure compliance, quality standards, and operational control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 20‑27 years of progressive leadership experience, preferably as COO or senior operations executive.
• Extensive experience in large‑scale agri‑operations or agro‑tech industry.
• Proven track record managing multi‑location or multi‑country operations.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and execution capability.
• Deep understanding of corporate finance, performance management and governance.
