Head of Solutions and Pre‑Sales

About the role

The Head of Solutions and Pre‑Sales will lead the design, customization and commercial positioning of enterprise solutions that align with client needs and Airtel Business strategy. This senior role acts as the central interface between sales, technology, product and marketing teams to deliver high‑impact, commercially viable solutions quickly and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design of ICT, fixed connectivity, cloud, SD‑WAN and digital solutions for key customer segments.
• Oversee preparation of solution blueprints, technical‑commercial proposals and RFP/RFQ responses.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product on solution launch readiness and create compelling vertical‑specific value propositions.
• Coach and mentor pre‑sales and solution engineers, chair weekly solution validation meetings and resolve design gaps or post‑sale issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, IT, Engineering or Business; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• 7‑10 years of experience in Telecom, ICT or Enterprise Technology, with proven technical pre‑sales and enterprise product development background.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional teams and experience engaging enterprise clients.

Required skills

• Networking and cloud technologies (e.g., Cisco, AWS, VMware).
• SD‑WAN, ICT and fixed connectivity solutions.
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco, AWS, VMware, ITIL.
