Human Resource Trainee – Full‑time (Kampala)

About the role

TechBuzz Hub is seeking a motivated Human Resource Trainee to join its on‑site team in Kampala. This full‑time position offers hands‑on experience supporting HR functions within a dynamic startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day HR management tasks and policy implementation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and support benefits administration.
• Help with recruitment activities, including posting vacancies and coordinating interviews.
• Conduct new‑employee orientations and support employee relations initiatives.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Background in a management‑related course (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration).
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Interest in enterprise development and technology innovation.
• Experience in a startup or innovative environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HR management principles and policies.
• Familiarity with employee benefits and personnel management.
• Understanding of recruitment processes and employee relations.
