Implementation Specialist

About the role

The Implementation Specialist is a full‑time, on‑site position in Kampala responsible for planning, configuring, and executing software implementation projects to meet client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyze client needs to define solution scope.
• Set up, test, and configure systems before go‑live.
• Train end users and provide support during and after deployment.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to resolve issues and optimise usage.
• Document processes, monitor performance, and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Proficiency in software implementation and configuration, with project management experience.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts.
• Customer‑service focus and ability to build trust with clients.
• Relevant academic background in IT, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Experience working in cross‑functional consulting or professional services environments.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
• Familiarity with training end users, documenting workflows and supporting change‑management initiatives is an advantage.
