About the role
This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Kampala and reports to the Insurance Agency Manager. The Salesperson will actively identify prospective customers, present the agency’s services and close sales.
Key responsibilities
- Meet clients in person, explain service offerings and negotiate pricing within set guidelines.
- Prepare basic sales documentation and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
- Track sales activities, report progress to the supervisor and share market feedback with the team.
Required profile
- Ability to build rapport, listen actively and communicate clearly in English and local languages.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with a focus on understanding client needs.
- Good organisational and time‑management skills to handle multiple client interactions.
Required skills
- Proficiency with basic computer tools such as email and spreadsheets.
