Insurance Salesperson – Kampala

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is for an Insurance Salesperson based in Kampala. You will identify and approach potential clients, present the agency’s advertising and marketing services, and build long‑term relationships to support client retention and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, make sales calls and visits, and prepare and deliver sales presentations.
• Follow up on leads and proposals, coordinate with internal marketing and creative teams to customise service packages.
• Negotiate contracts and meet or exceed agreed sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, monitor market trends, and provide feedback to improve offerings.

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and persuasion abilities with a track record of meeting targets.
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills, including active listening and clear presentation.
• Basic knowledge of advertising, marketing and promotional services, with interest in traditional and digital channels.
• Organisational and time‑management skills to handle multiple leads and client meetings efficiently.
• Prior sales experience, preferably in advertising, marketing or related fields, and a relevant diploma or degree.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office tools (email, spreadsheets, presentation software).
• Familiarity with CRM systems (preferred).
