Junior Technical Sales Specialist

About the role

Wagtech Environmental Uganda Limited is seeking a Junior Technical Sales Specialist to join its Kampala office. The role combines sales development with technical support, helping customers in the pharmaceutical, water quality, environmental monitoring, agronomy and laboratory sectors find the right solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities across target markets.
• Manage existing client accounts and nurture long‑term relationships.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical explanations to prospects.
• Offer technical support to address client inquiries and resolve issues.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports to management.
• Travel locally to meet customers, gather feedback and achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical sales and the ability to close deals.
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to provide effective technical support and solve client challenges.
• Organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment, environmental solutions or water‑quality testing is an advantage.
• A degree or diploma in analytical sciences or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally and work independently.
