Kitchen Staff – Food Preparation & Service

About the role

Join Opaa! Food Management as a Kitchen Staff member to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, support serving lines, and assist with occasional catering events. You will work across all kitchen stations to ensure high‑quality food service for schools and community locations.

Key responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Prepare foods according to menu plans and Opaa! recipes, including baking breads, cakes, and cookies.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other kitchen equipment with required certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow FIFO inventory practices.
• Monitor and record hot and cold food temperatures, complete HACCP logs, and ensure compliance with HHFKA and CACFP regulations.
• Assist with dishwashing, equipment cleaning, and restocking of service stations.
• Requisition supplies, keep accurate production records, and participate in safety and training programs.

Required profile

• Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety procedures.
• Willingness to attend meetings, trainings, and adhere to Opaa!’s core values.
• Certification to operate kitchen equipment where required.
