About the role
Uganda Christian University seeks a full‑time Lecturer to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Civil, Water Resources, Water, and Environmental Engineering. The role involves delivering high‑quality instruction, conducting research, and contributing to curriculum development.
Key responsibilities
- Teach assigned courses at undergraduate and graduate levels and develop related teaching materials.
- Conduct research, publish scholarly work, and secure research funding.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate students and participate in departmental seminars.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, exam administration, and pastoral care in line with university policies.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field.
- At least two years of university teaching experience as Assistant Lecturer or three years as Tutorial Assistant.
- Record of scholarly publication or research project involvement.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to Christian values.
