Lecturer in Land Surveying & Geomatics

About the role

The University seeks a full‑time Lecturer to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Land Surveying, Surveying & Geomatics, and to contribute to the department’s research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned undergraduate and graduate modules and develop curriculum materials.
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects and theses.
• Conduct high‑quality research, publish findings, and secure research funding.
• Participate in departmental seminars, committees, and curriculum planning.
• Provide pastoral care and uphold the university’s Christian values.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Surveying, Land Surveying, Geomatics, Geospatial Engineering or a closely related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in the same discipline.
• At least two years of university teaching experience as an Assistant Lecturer or three years as a Tutorial Assistant.
• Evidence of scholarly publication or completed research project.
• Strong time‑management, communication skills, and a commitment to Christian faith.
