Loan Officer

About the role

The Loan Officer will evaluate and process car loan applications, guiding clients through the financing journey while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review applicant information, credit history, income and employment details to assess creditworthiness.
• Approve or decline loan applications based on established criteria.
• Assist clients in understanding loan options and support them throughout the application process.
• Maintain accurate loan documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service and other departments to resolve processing issues.
• Prepare regular reports on loan volumes, approval rates and portfolio performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a loan officer or credit analyst.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with loan processing software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
