Medical Doctor – Full Time

About the role

The University Clinic is seeking a qualified Medical Doctor to provide comprehensive clinical services, supervise allied health staff, and support health education for students and the community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 24‑hour coverage, hand over shifts, and manage patient flow.
• Take patient histories, conduct examinations, order investigations, diagnose, and prescribe treatment.
• Review and evaluate ongoing patient care and refer according to guidelines.
• Supervise allied health workers and guide students during clinical learning.
• Participate in community health awareness activities and university public‑health initiatives.
• Conduct specialized clinics (e.g., hypertension, diabetes) and produce regular performance reports.
• Engage in continuing medical education and other duties assigned by the Director of Medical Services.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Services Management or a related field.
• MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) from a recognized institution.
• Valid practicing license from the medical council.
• At least four years of experience in a reputable hospital.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with students, staff, and visitors.
• Christian faith and mature professional conduct.
