Medical Doctor (MBBS) – Full‑Time Clinical Role

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Medical Doctor (MBBS) to join our healthcare team on a full‑time basis. The role involves delivering comprehensive clinical care to patients in a private healthcare setting in Uganda.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, clinical examinations, and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, monitor treatment outcomes, and adjust therapy as needed.
• Request, interpret, and act upon laboratory and diagnostic test results.
• Provide emergency and urgent medical care when required.
• Perform minor medical procedures within the scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records.
• Offer health education, preventive counseling, and refer patients to specialized facilities when necessary.
• Collaborate with nurses, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• MBBS degree from a recognized institution and completed internship training.
• Valid medical registration or eligibility for registration in Uganda.
• 2–3 years of post‑internship clinical experience, preferably in primary care or general practice.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
