Multimedia Content Creator

About the role

Good Soil Foundation, a faith-rooted non-profit in Uganda serving vulnerable children, women, families and underserved communities, is hiring a full-time, on-site Multimedia Content Creator based in the Central Region. The role produces visual and audio content that communicates the foundation's mission, programs and impact to diverse audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and create photos, videos, graphics and short documentaries of field activities, events and beneficiary stories
• Manage social media content and support website updates
• Prepare materials for campaigns, reports and fundraising initiatives
• Collaborate with program staff to capture accurate stories and data, and maintain an organized media archive
• Ensure content is culturally sensitive and aligned with the organization's values
• Assist in live coverage of events and training sessions

Required profile

• Ideally experience working with non-profit or community-based organizations and an interest in faith-rooted, service-oriented work
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate with diverse teams and interact respectfully with children, families and community members
• Good organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
• Diploma or degree in Multimedia, Communication, Journalism, Film, Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
