About the role
The Technician will support the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology by maintaining laboratory standards, supervising simulation training, and ensuring the smooth operation of surgical skills facilities. The role involves close collaboration with academic staff and students to deliver high‑quality practical education.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and assist students and staff in obstetrics and gynecological simulation surgical skills during theater time.
- Manage laboratory equipment, generate reports, inventories, orders, and budgets for the unit.
- Prepare and supervise student practical sessions and provide support to academic staff.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or midwifery with evidence of surgical skills training.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and machines.
- Computer operation skills for reporting and inventory management.
