Regional Retail Manager

About the role

Airtel Africa is seeking a Regional Retail Manager to lead retail operations across a defined region. The role focuses on driving sustainable sales growth, ensuring high‑quality service delivery, and enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically plan and coordinate retail activities to achieve regional sales targets for Gross Ads, Home Broadband, and Enterprise solutions.
• Maintain service standards at franchise and distributor shops, ensuring alignment with Airtel’s quality guidelines.
• Handle escalated customer queries and complaints, liaising with relevant departments for swift resolution.
• Set and enforce processes that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and enforce stock levels across all retail outlets.
• Prepare and present performance reports and recommend sales and service improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales management, preferably within retail or telecommunications.
• Exposure to retail management and knowledge of the telecom or fast‑moving consumer goods sector.
