Sales and Collections Intern

About the role

4G Capital, a lender of unsecured working capital in Kenya and Uganda, is recruiting Sales and Collections Interns across Uganda for a one-month internship. Interns support lending operations by acquiring new customers, generating loan sales, managing collections and keeping loan portfolios healthy. The internship runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a stipend provided and possible further employment depending on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new leads, assess financing needs, conduct due diligence and promote loan products
• Support timely repayments, follow up on overdue accounts and handle defaults
• Build relationships with customers and referral partners
• Follow credit policies and escalate credit risks
• Stay informed on market trends and product offerings

Required profile

• Interest in sales, financial services, credit management and customer relationships
• Good communication, negotiation and organisational skills
• Ability to work towards sales and collections targets
• Commitment to financial inclusion and small business development
