Sales Executive - Ghostwriting & Publishing

About the role

Faine Publishers helps leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs become published authors through premium ghostwriting and publishing services, using its 90-Day Book System to turn clients' ideas into professionally written books. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Executive in Kampala to identify and qualify prospects such as executives, professionals, entrepreneurs and thought leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify prospects who may benefit from ghostwriting and publishing services.
• Conduct outreach by calls, emails and meetings, present the 90-Day Book System and close new business.
• Nurture relationships and follow up on leads generated by marketing activities.
• Manage sales pipelines, prepare proposals and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Collaborate with the marketing and editorial teams to align client expectations with service delivery.
• Gather market feedback, contribute to sales strategies and represent the brand at events and networking activities.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in B2B sales, account management or consultancy; prior work with executives or professional clients is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfortable working on-site in Kampala and engaging in face-to-face meetings, events and networking.

Required skills

• Lead generation, consultative selling, negotiation and closing.
• CRM tools, pipeline management and responsive client support.
• Clear spoken and written English and confidence pitching to senior professionals.
• Strong organisation, time management and ability to meet targets and deadlines.
