Sales Executive - Insurance Agency

About the role

An insurance agency is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Executive in Kampala, reporting to the Insurance Agency Manager within the Sales and Marketing department. The role covers finding and pursuing new business, building client relationships and presenting agency services to prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and present agency services to prospective clients
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Conduct sales meetings and presentations, prepare proposals and quotations, negotiate contracts and follow up to close deals
• Coordinate with internal teams so client requirements are understood
• Track sales performance and contribute to sales forecasts and market insights
• Represent the agency professionally and support revenue growth targets

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management, ideally in advertising, marketing or related fields
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Comfortable working on-site in Kampala with creative and strategy teams

Required skills

• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Solid understanding of advertising and marketing services, including branding, media planning and digital marketing
• Ability to conduct market research and develop client-focused proposals
• Proficiency with common office and sales tools such as CRM systems, spreadsheets and presentation software
