Sales & Marketing Executive

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Executive will work primarily in the field, engaging customers to understand their needs, create tailored solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process. You will be responsible for generating new leads, maintaining client relationships, and supporting the company’s growth in the mining, energy and metals sector.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads through business directories, social media platforms and client referrals.
• Review and follow up on social media campaigns and advertising initiatives.
• Prepare sales action plans, strategies and schedules for sales activities.
• Develop and maintain a customer database and sales‑promotional materials.
• Conduct direct marketing activities and corporate purchase programs.
• Make sales calls to new and existing clients and deliver product presentations.
• Negotiate contracts, develop sales proposals and close deals.
• Maintain accurate sales activity records, prepare reports and monitor competitors and market conditions.

Required profile

• Educated to a decree level with knowledge of sales, customer service and basic business principles.
• Proven experience in sales, making presentations and achieving sales targets.
• Strong planning, strategizing and persuasiveness abilities.
• Resilience, tenacity and ability to work under stress.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and negotiation skills.
